No heating in my 06 Passat 105bhp ,I only have heating when I Rev her up to 2000 revs and hold it At that for ten minutes . The coolant goes away down in the header tank , changed the thermostat there was white gunk in the pipe and still no heating , cars going up to 90 degrees and above what do you suggest is wrong ?

Start the engine, turn the heater on high, and allow the engine to warm up to operating temp. Feel both heater core hoses. Both should be hot. Let me know what you find.
