2006 Vauxhall Vectra overheats

I own the 3.0v6 cdti sri vectra and when I drive it the car seems to overheat all the time... but when I release throttle and let car slow down the temp goes down... normaly car sits around 90° but this time it keeps going... have to stop car and let her cool off...now the fans are going mental at this time...ive opend water bottle within engine bay while running and the water pumps bk into it... when I turn it of and come bk to it a few hrs later I need to refill the water back up... plz help me... there seems to b no signs of water mixing in oil but the water must b going somewhere. ...

Get a head check done to test for Co in the cooling system and a cooling system pressure test for any external leaks and I would be getting the radiator core cleaned and not just a flush.

Thanks for ur reply. ..could plz tell me wot u mean by a head check...do u mean head gadget check...that worries me... I thought it would b the thermostat stuck closed am I wrong in thinking that...

The head check is just a precaution, it is a cheap and quick test, if the test fluid changes colour you will have a head problem, if it stays the same that is a good sign, do this test first then if it is ok, you can start looking at other items, best to do simple tests first than look at changing components that may be ok.

Hi I'm having exactly the same problem, i had it tested this morning for head gasket and the liquid turned green indicating a head gasket problem, we used K-Seal to rectify the problem by pouring the whole bottle into the coolant and let it circulate however i drove it home and the problem is still there, any ideas???

Pull the head and do the job, can of stop leak don't work as you have just found out, and they can do more harm than good by blocking radiator cores as well, you will now have to get the radiator cleaned as well.
