car battery not working?

hi, we bought the astra last year in october. we put the car on a SORN notice and havent done anything with the car since. we tried to start it recently and it didnt start. we tried to jump it and it make a clicking noise. we tried to charge the battery but the charger didnt work. i tired to charge it again today but nothing worked at all with it. no lights came on. not sure whether we need a new battery or try another battery charger?
