heater not working

Where is the heater control valve located?

Hi,

I have found the location for you and if this valve is stuck or disconnected from the cable it will cause the heater not to work.

Please let us know what happens and upload pictures or videos of the problem.

2003 Toyota Tundra V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 123000 miles

I jumped into my truck this AM, turned on defroster to clear the windshield, but no heat! Nothing in regular heater mode either. Gauge shows plenty of heat in engine(running normal) but only cool air comes out, despite the temp setting?
Has worked up until today, any suggestions??

Hello . thanks for the donation .. much appreciated WARM UP ENGINE DISCONNECT WATER VALVE CONTROL CABLE INSPECT WATER VALVE OPERATION Check that warm air blown out the vent when the water valve lever is moved to "WARM" position. Check that cool air blown out when the water valve is moved to the "COOL" position. If operation is not as specified, replace the water valve. CONNECT WATER VALVE CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR NOTE:It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant. DISCONNECT WATER VALVE CONTROL CABLE FROM WATER VALVE NOTE:At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. After connection, adjust the control cable (See INSTALLATION ). DISCONNECT WATER HOSES Using pliers, grip the claws of the hose clip and slide the hose clip along the hose. Disconnect the water hoses. NOTE:At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Heater radiator pipe: Push the water hose onto the heater radiator pipe as far as second ridge on the pipe. Water valve: Push the water hose onto the water valve pipe as far as water valve. Install the hose clip in a position, as shown in the illustration. REMOVE WATER VALVE Remove the bolt and water valve. Fig. 4: Removing Water Valve

Heater problem
2000 Toyota Tundra V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 32000 miles

About a week ago the heater stopped putting out hot air. The temp gauge shows mid range and the coolant level is up. How do access the the temperature control system? I tried looking under the dash but could not access the control cable to see if there was a problem with it. What else do I need to look for?
Also, my radio antenna base is loose. I pried off an access tab inside the passenger side of the front fender. I could see that the plastic sheath for the coax was off the cable and it looks like that is what stabilizes the antenna base. How do I access that area without taking off the fender? Or do I have to remove the fender to get to the antenna base?
