2.2L 4 cylinder that started having low idle (about 500-750) day before yesterday. Started car today and it wouldn't stay started, sounded very loud and rough. Had it towed to Midas, they said they heard and experienced the same, checked dip stick and found that antifreeze is saturating the oil. Also said "sounds like something's broke in there". I asked what I needed to do, he said replace the engine. I asked if it might be the head/gasket or the timing, or maybe something else. He said didn't really matter, because if its timing then all the valves are likely trash as well as the cylinders and head.. What do I really need to do??
