sometime when i start the enging up in the morning time it have a miss in the engine it don't last long then it stop missing what could be causing this miss and what do i need to check?

Thats the code for the thermostat you have had that code for a while that wont cause the missing when its cold.So that code you checked for like in the last couple of days?

I take my car to advance auto to scan the code what kind of code scanner I need to buy to scan with? I don't want to spend a lot of money on a code scanner.

The pocket scanner i have for a quick code read and it has some live engine data is 50 on amazon.Its autel model al 319 its a pretty cool one for a quick reasonable code reader.
