My driver side power windows stopped working . None of the controls on the driver side panel work, the back passenger controls do not work either the only controls that work is the front passenger window but only with the passenger control. Also when you put it in park it used to unlock the doors automatically but not any more .power door locks work manually. Could this be the main driver side control switches or a fuse some where.

Weird, I am having the exact same problem with my 2006 Ion2 power windows. Only the front passenger works and only from that control. No problems with the locks however, fingers crossed.

Real Weird I'm having the same problem with my 2006 Ion2. It started after I got the oil changed today. I have wiggled the wires in the boot between door and the body to no avail. Both rear doors and drivers wont work. Passenger window and the locks also still work.

I found this suggestion on saturnfans.com: I have seen this problems numerous times. You have some broken wires in your door grommet (rubber tubing protecting wiring going from the body to the door by the hinges). If you peel that grommet back I'm 100% sure you'll find some broken or chaffed wiring. Repair those wires and you'll be good to go.

I checked and sure enough, there was one broken wire and a couple with broken insulation. I repaired the broken wire and the power has been restored! I repaired the others with broken insulation too, just so I won't be doing this again in a month or two.

Solder is a high flex area is not a good idea. Proper crimping is much better and leaves less room for error if someone has little to no experience with solder.
