I watched your video on Porsche oil change. Is the oil plug tool an allen wrench configuration or some special "hex" end?
Is there a better place to order filters and crush washers? Your video did not show you changing the crush washer but some others I watched stressed using new crush washers.
I have a specific reason for asking. I just added oil to my Porsche for the first time and although I watched it closely, somehow the on board oil level "computer" says I over did it. It cannot be more than a cup too much but the Porsche is unforgiving. I have not driven the car and thought I would just drain some oil out via loosening the drain plug for a second or two but I am worried about sealing because I wont be able to replace the crush washer. The 8 quarts of oil in the car is pretty new so I don't want to lose it. I assume I would be able to just loosen the plug by hand until it starts to drip and just hold it there and re-tighten it after a cup of oil comes out.
What do you say about all of this?

that is a torx bit they are using an allen wrench will work as well but better to have t he torx bit. I have no idea what size but it may be a 50 or 55. replace the crush washer every change, if replaced recently you should be good to get away with it. As far as draining the il you can do the drip method or pull the plug and then block with finger then replace the plug you'll get some oil on you but it will wash off.
