I was driving about 55 mph the wheel locked up and jerked me to the left. The service stability system light came on I had it checked and ended up replacing the hubs on the front wheels thinking it was the sensors. yaw rate sensor bias circuit fault so I have ordered a sensor but i need to know can it be anything else, and if not where is the yaw sensor located on this model? Please help I dont want my family hurt or anyone elses.

I would tend to agree, but it is a bit hard with not being able to do a hands on diagnosis, see pic for sensor location.

My 2006 Pontiac Montana is at the dealer right now with this problem. When it happens it feels like the front left wheels locks up with traction control and pulls the wheel and the van to the left. I had the Yaw sensor replaced and nothing has changed. I was on the freeway and almost caused a huge accident. it's very scary, dealer can't see anything??

Hello,

It sounds like you have a wheel speed sensor or a control module that is going out. Here are a couple guides to help you get the problem fixed.

and

Are there any codes?

Please let us know what you find.
