2006 Pontiac G6 defrost only blows cold air

when switching a/c heater controls, I can get hot and cold air through the vents and the floor but when I switch to defrost I only get cold air.

try pulling hvac fuse inside car for 60 seconds with key on it may reset actuators. if that dosen' work see if power is going to mode actuator if it is actuator may be bad. see pic it's located on pass side.
