Would you have to move or adjust the front axel while replacing the two front tie rods and the left front ball joint or can that work be done with no interaction to the axel and transmission ?

Depends on what you're referring to and why you're asking. Don't make us guess. Moving an axle housing is a huge job that is rarely done unless correcting crash damage, but there are other things that are part of an alignment that could be referred to as "moving" or "adjusting an axle". The housing isn't repositioned when replacing common wear parts like ball joints and tie rod ends. New tie rod ends require the vehicle be aligned so they can be adjusted very precisely, and replacing some ball joint designs will set the part of the axle that holds the wheel straight up and down in a different orientation, and the alignment is needed to readjust it back to specs.
