2006 Jeep Liberty egr valve

I have a 2006 CRD and the ERG valve has been replaced about every 6,000 miles. Now that the warrenty has expired this is a issue. What can I do to prevent the problem?

About once a week you will need to do a wide open throttle run to keep it cleaned out. If you putt around it will get stopped up.
