Transmission started to slip while moving from a stopped and go situation. It then drove fine for a week with no problem. Then while driving along the Jeep would stop moving.
This Jeep has a sealed transmission which, from what I understand needs to be filled and changed professionally. This is new for me.
I was also told that it was common that the timing chain to go for the 2006 Jeep Cherokee. Could this be a possible cause?
We have not had it looked at by a mechanic yet. We were hoping to maybe get some answers here first. Any advice you can give us would be greatly appreciated!
