Driving for approx 1 hour, car temp gauge started rising pulled off before
it got to the red, checked belts, added coolant, let car cool down.
Started car Fan comes on, ran for hour watching gauge, after about 40 minutes the gauge would start to rise then would go back to mid point, after about ten minutes it would do it again, It did this about 4 times in
20 minute span sometimes it would get close to the red, It was open road and was moving all the time no lights or stop signs to deal with. Is this a thermostat problem or something else? There is no signs of leaking antifreeze or smoke.
