radiator problem

I have hyundai santro.the problem with my car is that the radiator of car is not getting any input from the bootle in which collent is kept.i have changed radiator pressure cap and cap of bottle of collent but still there is no response.the piping is also not plugged.

Fill the header tank to half way with the engine cold, mark the bottle with a pen at the level, drive the car till it reaches temp, check the bottle and check the mark, is thew coolant level higher?

Do you live in a particularly cold area? are you having any overheating problems? is the heater working?

no i live in a warm region and on average the temperature stays between 25-45 degree celcius,only once the car was heated on a highway but that was due to less coolant in the radiator.heater is working correctly.

Do a cooling system pressure test, this will locate any small leaks, if there are no overheating problems, and no loss of coolant, all is well, for piece of mind, you can change the pressure cap and thermostat, ensure that the cooling fans are working as well.
