rear seat tilt catch not working

The smaller of the two rear seat backs no longer responds to the release catch at the top. Feels looser than the other side so presume has become disconnected - is it possible to repair and how?

It sounds like you had a seat position hinge problem, these wear out or break in time, here is a diagram for what you want to replace.
