I had a 18-wheeler blow a tire and rupture my gas tank about a month ago. It was replaced with a tank directly from Hyundai. This repair had to happen in the middle of podunk nowhere in WY because of insurance policy. Since then, whenever I fill my gas tank, the car stalls when idling and going at low speeds. Dealer tried to say it was cam sensor, mass air sensor and intake air sensor and spark plugs. Code int he computer was misfire #4. plugs were replaced with new ones...did not fix it. Cam sensor and air intake sensor were switched with another hyundai and this did not fix the problem. Another mechanic said he thought it was the evaporative canister and/or valve. Does this sound right and how much am I looking at spending. Problems stop when I get the gas down to 3/4 tank of gas.
