i have changed the crank sensor 3 times

i have a hyundai atos 2006 1.1gls..... Each time it will work then a few months later, sensor packs up

Cranks sensors keeps failing, the first time i changed it, the sensor looked like it was scored....put new one, works for a few months then packs up again
