air conditioning problem on H3 Hummer

have a 2006 H3 Hummer..it keeps blowing the ac fuse..we take the ac diode out of the box and it does not blow fuse and the compressor will kick in and run.

Try swapping that diode with the wiper diode #65, they ae the same. The are polarity specific, so pay attention to that. It may show the direction of flow on the fuse block cover. If the wiper diode in place of the compressor diode, causes normal operation, replace the diode.
