I'm trying to find out the cost of a new engine as I've been told by Suttons it will cost 19000 for new and 6900 for 2nd hand. Do I need a new engine?
Engine warning light came on, ute shuddered when stopped. Rang straightaway to have car towed. Have been told issue is bottom end bearings, issue with one of the shafts.
Car has been maintained well and serviced 6 months as per Suttons 3 year auto protection warranty.
Last year had oil pressure switch replaced.
