The battery reads 12.2 average and drops to 11.8 on cranking. When you apply a booster pack away she goes. Could cranking amps from the battery or a crook relay be the drama? Cheers, Mick

A good battery reads 12.8 volts, your's is on the low side-have it load tested won't hold 9.6 volts in 10secs its no good-also load test the starter motor-

A weak/bad battery can have suficient power for most of the electrical components except for the starter.
Do you hear any clicking noise from the starter when trying to start?
Have you tried a jump start?
Is the security light (if equipped ) in dash blinking while you are trying to crank engine?

Have you checked the fuses and/or relays to the starter solenoid?
