2006 Ford Fusion Instument

I have an intermittent problem with my 2006 For Fusion. At times when I first start it the high beam light is on the check oil light is on and the Emergency brake light is on and I cannot put it into gear. When these lights go out it works fine. Also while driving the same sequence of lights come on and my turn signal indicators do not work although the actual lights do. Where to I begin to investigate this problem. Thanks, jim
