I just purchased a used 2006 Ford Freestyle that has an interesting issue. When i get out of the car and shut it off when filling up with gas or coming home I have to press the Unlock button on the remote before the engine will start again on re-entry.
This is not a major issue, but more of an annoyance. I am sure that this is a programming issue with the alarm system, but I have not found anything in the manual that has worked. I have also checked with the Ford dealer it was purchased from and they did not have any answers for me either.
Do you have any suggestions?
