Can I replace the originial LT275/70R18 Load range E tires with LT265/70R18 Load range E tires without any adverse effects other than very monor speedo/tach errors?

i would think it would work. i've used other sized tires before on my vehicles.

Yes. Your speedo will be off by about 5%: you'll be going a little slower than what the speedo indicates.
