air conditioner comes on it makes a hard pop

2006 Dodge truck when the air conditioner comes on it makes a hard pop that you can hear and feel inside the truck this is a diesel engine 2500....in most cases it occurs when you first start the engine i have already had to replace one compressor....but in the past it got worse until the compressor went out....i have had it in the past at the dodge dealer ship they changed some kind of filter but had no other solutions..
