Both front and rear cigarette lighters have no power to them.
Using a multi-meter I determined that the fuse is good and there is power to the fuse box. I also determined that the wires are attached and are in good shape. The ground good and there is no continuity between the hot lead and ground. It's like the wire is broken somewhere between the fuse box and lighter, but what a snakes nest!!! I can not even find where the wire connects from the lighter. About 12" from the lighter the wire is bundled in and the bundle is taped as far as I can see it without pulling the entire dash.
Would it be easier to just abandon the wire and run a new one?

Thanks!

If there is a break in the wire, I would just replace it with a wire that is equal in size and gauge.
