I changed my thermostat twice in maybe 2 weeks and the housing on 8-8-15 due to the housing was bad causing it to leak antifreeze and over heat. Now that it is replaced the heating gage is not going hot but we I drove it today for 10-15 minutes and iit started to smoke. I looked under the hood and the over flow antifreeze tank was spilling a bit but it was still full. As of now I really don't know if I blew my head gasket and this is why it's running hot but the heating gave is not going past half(the heating gage works because I see it moving). Someone told me to get a pressure test but I'm not sure if that will tell me the problem internally and not just spend money. Plus I don't want to have a process of elimination of what might be the problem thats taking money out my pocket I don't have. Now the fans are coming on and in 8-8-15 it did run hot maybe 4-5 times each time I let it set and cool down but that was before the housing was changed (which was causing it to leak and the hose was loose).
