When its cold outside and I go to make a left hand turn, the vehicle hums really loud and continues to when I turn the wheel straight. This continues to happen until the vehicle warms up while driving for about 10 mins. This does not happen when I make a right turn. I can hear the noise is coming from the front right of the vehicle. I checked the power steering fluid and its still at the correct level. Also, I seems to have to put a few quarts of oil in every three to four weeks. I can't find a leak underneath. I know a lifter needs to be replaced because it clicks upon starting too. I replaced the hub assembly thinking it may be something to do with that, but still have the same noise. Was thinking maybe the power steering pump? but why would it only make that noise turning left? plus I don't have any resistance in steering when I turn. What do you think?
