Can I change the oil pump from the front without dropping the oil pan?

yes because the baffle in pan has to be pulled off as well to move sump

like I said the first time NO you have to drop the pan and the baffle to get the oil pump
Sump to come out of the pump otherwise it will get damaged. and the sump won't seal right on pump you'll get an air leak then have real problems also put Vaseline in the pump gears to prime it.
