im trying to put a aftermarket stereo in this truck. it has no accessory wire from the truck. i ran the accessory from the radio to the fuse box located in the dash on the drivers side. it makes the radio work but it takes out my fuel/oil/voltage/temp gauges. I tried running it to any of three pink /red wires from the ignition and had the same result. there has to be someplace I can hook up this accessory wire to with out my gauges dropping.

What I would suggest is finding out what this accessory wire is supposed to do. More then likely this is a wire that needs to be tied to a "hot in ACC and run" wire for it to function correctly.

I am attaching the wiring diagram of the radio below that will help with this but if this does not work then we are going to need the wiring diagram of the radio that you installed. Then we can start putting the correct wires together that will solve this.
