i have a 2006 malibu that acts like the fuel pump relay went out and i swap it out with another one and it starts then i swap it back with the original one that i thought was bad and it still starts it does this every couple of days whats wrong it has a new fuel pump

What exactly tells you that the relay is the problem?

Have you tried simply swapping the relay with another like relay for a few days to see if the problem stops?

i do swap it out with another on and it works but in a day or less it does it again but once i swap it out i can put the old one back in and it works fine for a little while its like its reseting when i remove the relay

Then the problem is not likely the relay but a connection somewhere, possibly in the relay socket.

where would that be on the back of the fuse box i have gone through all the connections on the fuel pump
