Recently, upon starting I hear what sounds like water "gurgling" behind the glove compartment and I've noticed a few quarter size drips of coolant on garage floor.
Reservoir is full and coolant is up to filler neck in rad when warm. When cold, coolant cannot be seen in rad filler neck. Should this be full when cold?

Had this gurgling problem when car was new. However, when stopped and low RPM's, cool air blew from heat vents. When RPM's increase, heat reappeared. Since then, water pump and coolant was replaced around 4 years ago. System has worked well since then.Oil has no milky appearance and exhaust is normal.
Suggestions to find leak? And what is proper cooling system air purging process. 3.5L vin K. Thanks. John
