Want to sell this car but having a problem with the removal of the key. This has been a problem for a while but usually the key came out by gently shaking it while turning to off/removal position. This is a newer key cut by the dealer by vin number as the older key was heavily worn. I also noticed that when trying to remove the key the P was illuminated on the column when everything else was off. I was going to try to shoot compressed air into the ignition to see if any debris was present from the older worn keys.

There is a park/lock solenoid on the ignition lock that releases the lock when the car is in park. You will have to troubleshoot that circuit to determine what the problem is.
