I have a 2006 chevy cobalt and my air conditioner has worked well all summer. Yesterday I turned the switch from high to low and it completely shut off. When I turned it to off it turned on again. When I turned it back on it did nothing until I turned it to high and then it worked again. Today when I turned it on it did nothing. I tried the heat as well and nothing will turn on. No hot or cold air is coming out at any setting. What may be causing this problem and is it an easy fix?

If I press the AC button the light does come on. When I just drove it, the AC turned on at it's fullest capacity at the lowest fan setting, but when I turned it higher or lower it would shut off.
