Trunk release not working properly

The trunk release button in the glove box only works occasionally and is getting worse over time. so I use the key fob button for trunk access. Car is in park/neutral and tried with motor off and on. Is it the the trunk release button or something else?

This could be the release button itself however, I attached the testing to determine the cause. Also, if I read it correctly and it is only the button in the glove box that doesn't work at times then yes, it is either the button or the wiring. However, if each of the ways to release the trunk are working less and less then it is probably the latch.
