Just bought the car. Loses power going up hill. Loses power when accelerating past 4000rpm on a straight. Doesnt lose power when accelerating down hill even past 4000rpm however power is lower than it should be even down hill. What could it be? Please reply

Since the engine is under more of a load up hill, check to make sure the fuel pump pressure is within the manufacturer's specs. Also, check to make sure the catalytic converter isn't plugging up. That will cause a loss of power.
