hi in my car there is a rattling noise when im stationary but when i put the clutch in the rattling noise goes?

any idea what it could be

This is a definite indication of a bad bearing inside the transmission. It could be a bad input shaft bearing, release bearing, or pilot bearing. I would take it to a well renowned transmission shop and have them confirm. Best of luck.
