my vauxhall combo smokes quite heavy and has done for 13 months allways passes mot but getting mad about it now what could it be fuel pump ? injectors ?i keep changing things allways serviced but cant get it to not smoke timing chain was allso done 5000 mile ago ?

heave the valve seasl checked for cylinder leakage we have no info on this car. also if a turbo check that for a bad seal.

I had this problem, I had put a bit too much engine oil in, check the level and take a pint out, other problem I had is that I found that if I changed the glow plugs it stopped, especially on start up, check each plug individually by taking out and reconnect to electrics, see which ones get hot , replace the ones that are cold. Will start a lot better too.
