The heater will not turn off, cannot change temp setting, or fan speed. Is this a simple repair or will I need to a shop?

Without knowing the cause it woon't be possible to recommend any rectification methods.

Get a scan done to check for trouble codes.

I had the same problem no codes.tested power at connectors has battery voltage. Replaced module still same problem connect to scan tool actuated the blower motor .blower motor comes on and showed it increasing on display but still cannot control it at knobs

Which module did you replace?
Was the blower control unit tested for shorting?
