will a performance chip reset the ecm and make my supercharger compatible or do i have to replace the ecm?

hello, i have a 2005 scion tc and i put the trd supercharger on it. I took it to 2 different toyotas and neither knew what they were doing or talking about. They said that the supercharger was not compatible with the ecm. What can i do now> I looked into performance chips, and replacing the ecm but i am not sure if those would work.
