standard 5 speed transmission stuck in first gear, I thought it might be the shifter cable but upon inspection found the cable still connected to the transmission and moves freely, seems not to be connecting to anything and won't disengage the gear. do I need a new transmission or can I repair this myself? ie. drop tranny and reconnect linkages on the inside?
