My 2005 Pontiac g6 gt is making a strange noise from the right rear tire. Its a deep "Whoomp, whoomp, whoomp..." as i accelerate. However, the noise dicipates as i reach 20ish MPH... I've been driving it for about a year now with this noise and its not getting any worse.?.?. Also, it has no effect whatsoever on the tread of the tire that i can see..confusing...
