Is it possible to manually adjust the clutch

On a 2005 Opel Corsa 1.4 Sport LDV, in order to extend the life of the clutch a little?

Can't replace clutch right away and need to buy a bit of time/life, for the current clutch.

If the clutch is cble driven, it cabn be adjusted. If it is hydraulic, and unless the adjustments are out resulting in no free play, no amount of adjustment is going to help.
