I took my car to a local auto repair center because my brake and battery light came on afterwhich I heard a pop noise and then the card died. He said it was my serpentine belt and that I had an oil leak that I should eventually get repaired. I also was overdue for an oil change. He chrged me $230 dollars for the oil change, andto replace the serpentine belt,did I get overcharged or was this a fair price?
