2005 Nissan Quest Need Help

Remove the lower pane just below the steering wheel. There will be 2 or more screws securing it to the dashboard. You may not need to remove this panel if you can crawl under the dash board and remove the switch.
Disconnect the electrical connector to the switch
Remove the stop lamp switch and/or cruise control control cancel switch by rotating switch 45degrees
If you have adjustable brake/accelerator pedals move them in a position to get better access if needed.

Is there any certain tools I need in order to remove the bad brake light switch?

I don't think so. It should just twist into the bracket for the switch.
