Fuel filter location?

Unfortunately, the fuel filter is a non-service item. The fuel filter is built into the electric in-tank fuel pump assembly and is therefore only able to be changed when the fuel pump is replaced. It sounds like you might have a weak or failing fuel pump that is not providing sufficient pressure to start your truck and maintain pressure while driving. First thing you should perform is a fuel pressure test. Here is a tutorial show how to do so:

The fuel pressure specification for your truck at idling is 51 PSI. If the fuel pressure isn't sufficient the you should replace the fuel pump. Here is a tutorial showing how to replace an electric in-tank fuel fuel pump:

You will have to drop the fuel tank to gain access to the fuel pump. I've attached picture steps below on how to replace the fuel pump on your vehicle. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
