At first start of day or when the car has been sitting for a period of time, the engine idles from 1500 to 2000 rpm. After approx. 3-5 min. the idle will return to 6-800 rpm. The start up idle seems excessive and hard on a cool or cold engine. (I would expect maybe 1000or1200 for 2-5 seconds). Also at low speeds 10-25mph the tranny shifts hard from first to second and second to first.
