what does a code po300 and code po021 mean in a nissan maxima

I own a 2005 nissan maxima 3.5L v6 engine that has given me a code po300 and code po021. What is the problem?

P0300 - Random misfire detected.
P0021 - IVT control. It means a fault has been detected in the variable camshaft system. This would trigger the P0300.
