I have a 2005 4 door Altima SE. It took a nasty bump when I was forced off the road. I hit a curb dead on, the car then cleared the curb and drop to a lower plateau. I was told after making a claim that the sub frame was damaged and would be repaired. After repairs my car didn't drive straight like it used to. I would constantly have to readjust myself on the road when I never had to before. I kept pressuring my insurance company to look at it again, to which they did but they told me everything is tight on the car and there wasn't a problem with it. I went to a firestone and they showed me how my control arms had damage and needed replacement. I took it back and got those replaced and even got new tires, STILL the problem persisted. When I drive it feels like I'm not balanced and there's always the issue of over or understeering. When I travel over bumps I feel like I'm going over rugged territory when usually I would travel over them with ease. I have a pull when driving which constantly has me readjusting the wheel. A wobble, slight but it's there. And a shopping cart effect when traveling. I've made case after case to my insurance company to which they replied "we did all we can do and we can't seem to duplicate the problem when we drive it" which tells me they have completely whipped their hands of the situation. Dumping money into it on my own to see what the problem "may" be isn't an option. I need to know what really "is" the problem and solve it so that I can go back to feeling at ease when I drive. Please help.
