I had the Crank Shaft sensor replaced by garage last week and since then the idle rev are too high at about 1100 rpm whereas before garage did work the revs were 850 rpm.
The garage have said problem not connected - I would like to know if the revs would be affected by then fitting new sensor and also is it easy to reduce revs ?

They aren't connected. CHeck the IAC and also check to see if there are any vacuum leaks.
